Sumatriptan and naproxen combination is used to treat acute migraine attacks. It is not used to prevent migraine headaches or to treat cluster headaches. This medicine often relieves other symptoms that occur together with a migraine headache, such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, and sensitivity to sound. Sumatriptan is a serotonin receptor agonist that works in the brain to relieve migraine headaches. Naproxen is an NSAID. This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.
